Day Of The Dead Corkscrew

This corkscrew is inspired by the Day of the Dead holiday in Mexico. Every year Mexicans celebrate the lives of loved ones who are no longer with us. They do so with offerings of food and drink. Sugar Skulls are part of this tradition and is the imagery behind of the Day of the Dead Corkscrew.

The Day of the Dead corkscrew was designed by Stephanie Suarez as part of the Mexico Design Challenge -InchDesarrollando Talento Mexicano-Inch (Developing Mexican Talent). A program organized by Kikkerland, in collaboration with Ariel Rojo, Gava Design, and the UNAM (Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico). Kikkerland is very proud to part of this program.
