The round pot in traditional clay material on top of the oblong and seemingly quite ordinary piece of wood provides a nice contrast between both shape and material – something Hallgeir Homstvedt is fond of working with and continues to focus on in his other designs.
Grow Pot is a simple but versatile design for herbs, plants or flowers. The designer explains, “The original Grow Pots were designed for an exhibition in Tokyo called Woodwork, where I displayed the pots with different herbs. The original prototypes are now used for plants in my apartment, and I grow more and more fond of the simplicity of the product.”
Grow Pot is ideal for a little home garden of herbs in the windowsill. You can also create various installations with several pots on the tray and fill them with plants, violets, or some fragrant fresh rosemary.
