Our locomotive is propelled by rubber bands and an array of gears instead of superheated steam, but otherwise its main mechanism looks and works very much like that of the real steam engine. You can see working asynchronously pistons and valves that transmit power to the drive wheels of the locomotive moving through the system of rods, linkages and cranks.
Little touches like a fully detailed cockpit engineer with a retractable metal ladder, art deco decoration of the boiler and open up doors rubbed with charcoal finish this beautiful reminder of a bygone era.
