this happened to me when i was young. it was devastating. people feel like they can comment on your skin and its like you cant get away. i will say one thing- im older now and FINALLY the solution to fixing my skin was a 6 dollar bar of sulfur soap. I was using expensive Rodan and Fields and they changed their face wash which i learned was essentially just sulfur soap and so I started buying this bar and I haven't had a single pimple in like 4 years. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AZD8L1W/ref=oh_aui_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I am so sorry you were mad to feel bad. It stings forever.
Sulfur wash recommendations?
My dermatologist initially prescribed a sulfur wash for some stubborn acne that I've been experiencing over the last few months, but it wasn't covered by insurance and cost almost $500. So she said to look for one on Amazon. I ended purchasing this one: 10% Sulfur Soap All Natural Fresh Scent. Fragrance Free. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B00AZD8L1W/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_i_HWQZDbQMFBQ2P
I've (F26) been using it on and off for about two weeks now but I'm noticing very small pustules in odd places like the top of my cheeks and on my nose, which I usually don't experience. My question is two parts: does anyone have any positive experiences using sulfur wash for acne, and, if so, do you have any product recommendations?
My routine below is as follows:
Skin type: combo, acne prone
Location: northeast United States
AM Routine:
PM Routine:
I also have been using Paula's Choice Azelaic Acid cream for some PIE and PIH from acne and silicone scar sheets for some bad PIE left from a boil I got on my cheek a month ago (I forgot to clean off my blue light glasses at work before wearing them which caused the infection)
And FINALLY, I was put on 5mg of Lexapro starting in mid July. About six weeks after that was when the breakouts started and got so out of control. I stopped taking it after three months while my dermatologist simultaneously put me on minocycline for two weeks. The acne improved during that time. Since then it has gotten better but it's starting to flair up again and I'm getting really frustrated with constantly trying to fight my acne and not seeing my skin go back to what it was. I get jawline acne that coordinates with my cycle but these latest breakouts are occuring at more random times in my cycle.
Do I just need to be more patient in letting my skin and hormones regulate? Is the sulfur wash worth it? I know I came here just to ask about to sulfur wash but if you think that it's another problem entirely I'm all ears. Anything to heal my skin and bring some of my confidence back. I feel like I'm doing my skin such an injustice with it in this condition and just want to help it go back to being acne free.
It should come right up if you search Sulfur Suds

My derm prescribed something but I use this amazing sulfur mask: AcneFree Sulfur Face mask and I’ve tried this sulfur soap from amazon which was pretty good: https://www.amazon.com/Sulfur-Natural-Fresh-Scent-Fragrance/dp/B00AZD8L1W
This one I used too: https://www.katesomerville.com/acne-products-eradikate-cleanser-clear-skin
What do you think?
Can anyone recommend a good sulfur face wash? I suffer from rosacea (more pimples than redness) and seborrheic dermatitis.

Is this stuff any good?
