All you need is a standard HDMI cable, like this. Don't get scammed into paying ten times as much for the same thing; the signal is digital, so it literally makes no difference what brand you buy as long as it works.

I get the $2 cheapies on amazon. They all work fine, since its a digital signal, it either gets there or it doesnt. Also, you reproduced the issue by wiggling the cable on the TV end, which indicates either a bad HDMI board connection, or your cable is bad. start with the cable. I buy these, and they work just fine, and if they dont, send it back. I would say, $0.51 for a 15 foot HDMI cable is cheap as hell

Little do you know that you're still getting ripped off. Bought same length HDMI on Amazon for like 15 cents 3 years ago. Just recently bought a 15 feet cable for $2. Link. Works perfectly fine, and it's convenient as fuck.
I just bought this 10-foot one a couple days ago for $3.29 (it was about $7 with overnight shipping), works great.
