The promotion mentions .38 Special, Eddie Money, and the Tubes, but no Grateful Dead. I was intrigued because like you said, they were definitely in the area around that date (Jerry and Kahn played in SF the next night).
There is a press photo with a description of the show on Amazon with no mention of them too.
I can't find any article or references about after show though. Maybe there were some surprise guests! I love the idea of discovering a lost show.
