Kerry Drewery (the author) published A Brighter Fear, a YA novel set in Iraq, and says that during her research process, she was unable to find any YA books set in the Middle East other than Kiss the Dust and A Little Piece of Ground, both by Elizabeth Laird. Can you think of any others published in English? The titles I come up with tend to be MG, adult, or graphic novels.
