The prices on Star Wars book seem to be inflated with The Force Awakens coming out soon. I usually just search Amazon, barnesandnoble and Ebay.
I just picked mine up at wal mart, but I'm sure it's at any book store. Here's a link to it on Amazon.

A New Dawn: Star Wars
This is a good time to get in to SW bc they axed a lot of the old material and now have a new canon that consists of the six films, The Clone Wars cartoon, and 4 new books, the first of which comes out starting on Tuesday.
There will also be another cartoon and comic books coming out.
