Go buy a copy of this: https://www.amazon.com/Potters-Workbook-Clary-Illian/dp/0877456712 and go through the exercises. You will see a dramatic improvement in your ability to throw, your end pieces, and the whole idea of what it means to be a potter. I try to run through the exercises every couple of years and have always found it worthwhile, even after 30 years of throwing.
