What /u/Running_Is_Life said, but I'd go for either a drawstring bag or duffel bag. Personally I like the drawstring bag because it is more portable, and all my stuff for xc meets fit in it fine. I'd go for one with thicker string though, it feels nice and doesn't dig into your shoulders. Something like this

So best thing I could recommend is a timbuk2 jet pack or q laptop pack those are probably the closest to meeting what you want, the size is gonna be the main issue I think. The thing with these bags is that they are kinda made fro travel but can function however you need them too, they have lots of space. There most likely isn't going to be a perfect bag in this scenario because of the show compartment.

I agree with /u/GreenwoodsUncharted I think grabbing a string bag for like $10-20 and then buy a bag that meets the rest of your criteria.

In that regard, you could try the North Face recon, borealis (little smaller), kabig, there are others too. Also timbuk2 command pack, spire, rogue. If you do it this way it means you don't need such a large bag. Just my opinion though!

Hope this helps!

I have multiple bags I transition through during the week depending if I have work/school or I'm just going directly to the gym. The lululemon Free to Be bag is one of my favorites! I don't think they sell it anymore but they also carry lots of bags currently in the tote style with a ton of space and mat straps. I also have the lululemon Urban Warrior Duffle which is a nice, sleek duffel. It's a bit large and the zipper gets stuck sometimes but it's still a solid bag. It is currently 33% off on the site right now at $99 instead of $148!

For days I'm just strictly going to the gym with no detours, I use the Adidas Alliance II sackpack which is your basic drawstring bag. This bag is indestructible; I've had mine for over two years and it still looks new. You can often find it for sale under $10 on Amazon as well!

A "sackpack" with a folder for character sheets inside (use an accordion folder for lots of sheets/games). Pencils and a plastic bag of dice in the secondary pocket of the backpack. Water bottle in the side pocket.

No, the Fallout branded one is the S2. Looks like you can just insert it into a backpack pretty easily though. Something like this.
