To anyone who wants to see this painting at the SAM, if the lights in the room are reflecting off the painting, see if there's a bench in front of it where you can stand on (there was last time I went, but I know the museum has had a lot of stuff moved around since). You won't see the glare from the lights, and it will really pull you in. Gorgeous painting, I recommend looking up Albert Bierstadt's other works!
