Get an arduino starter kit and start building projects.
This is a good one for a good price.(it's twice that or more on amazon)
and this is a good price for a batch of sensors(no arduino included)
if you want to move stuff a batch of servos is fun
a soldering iron is good
this one is good for the price. I don't like the ones that adjust at the handle. I prefer a base station.
need solder as well
and a solder sucker
flush cut wirecutters are good to have
a good pair of wire strippers is a life saver
Good idea to have a multimeter around for verifying resistance values and voltages
this is a decent one for the price
Need some breadboard for prototyping. I'd suggest at least 3
and some protoboards to finalize your circuit(until you start getting pcb's made)
some solid conductor wire
I like these storage cases for keeping my mess semi-under control.

I thought flux was inclusive in the solder for some reason. This is what I've had sitting around:

If I can use flux to improve outcomes in my solder work, I'd strongly appreciate it. I felt persistently I was applying too much heat, and it was just dissipating through the circuit.

Thanks i was looking at that one as well but was not on sale at the time im ordering it now at 1/2 off thanks. The only problem with the solder you linked is its being mailed from china so eta on it geting here is Jan. 26-Feb. 13 was just going to pick This up its the only one i can find with Prime that wont take a month or more to get here.
