If you want soft foam, something like Casper but softer, then there are basically two ways to go. Either memory foam, or latex. If you want a soft memory foam mattress, you could try the "soft" option from novosbed.com , but I would not recommend that as your best option for two reasons: (1) the soft novosbed uses 3.7-pcf density memory-foam which is below the 4-pcf density minimum for decent quality memory foam and (2) with soft memory foam you tend to sink in more than with other foams, which could result in sleeping hot.
So, I suggest that latex may be your best option. But you would need a soft latex layer, preferably Talalay because it breathes better, and a thin, stretch cover over the latex, otherwise it would not feel as soft as with latex below a thicker quilted cover.
