Must buy accessories:
6ft USB 3.0 extender
6ft HDMI Extender
I went for 6ft because I heard people had issues with picture quality degrading at 10ft+
Wall Charger for 4 AA's
8 rechargeable AA's
I have those 2 cables from the good ol 4 sensors times:

Will i be able to extend that cable with any of these or will that not work? Anybody tested that already?

I don’t think Nintendo has any licensed ones. Here’s an Amazon Basics one:

If your PC has USB 2.0 inputs, make sure the extension cable you're using is USB 2.0 as well. If your extender is certified 3.0, use a 3.0 port. I've tried plugging a USB 3.0 extender into a USB 2.0 port and the sensor didn't work. As a last resort, try getting extension cables that other people have said worked with their sensors. I use these and they haven't given me any problems. Good luck :p
I haven't used them personally yet but another user vouched for these:

I debated this as well when I added an Android Auto head unit into my Element last month:

Now when I get in, I plug my phone into a short ~6-inch USB cable, and then let the magnetic holder hang onto it while driving. Easily reachable, simple to unplug/take with me, and the radio is all android auto so I have no need to look at the phone while it's docked/charging.
I'm using Amazon Basics USB and HDMI extension cables and they work fine for me
I am using a 16 ft. USB 3.0 active adapter and also have a 6 ft. USB 3.0 (non active) plugged into the same sensor (totaling in 22 ft.) no issues and shows up as USB 3.0 on Oculus Home.
These are the ones I used:
I have one of these and it is the greatest thing ever. I have rechargeable batteries in it and I'm good to go. The air mouse feature is absolutely legit. I recommend placing the USB receiver somewhere close to your TV. Despite that it works over radio frequencies, it can sometimes behave like a line-of-sight device. I have my usb receiver attached to one of these -https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-Extension-Cable-Male-Female/dp/B014RWATK2/ref=sxin_0_pb?crid=ZP6W072XSS8A&keywords=usb+extension+cable&pd_rd_i=B014RWATK2&pd_rd_r=3c2dd2d2-78c5-4b11-8ed7-8f0644c82608&pd_rd_w=ZrxJO&pd_rd_wg=G5t6Q&pf_rd_p=50bbfd25-5ef7-41a2-86d6-74d854b30e30&pf_rd_r=GMHXBNSF7QH5XARH0PD2&qid=1572375861&sprefix=usb+exten%2Caps%2C140
taped to the bottom of my TV. You can't even tell the receiver is there.
Controlling the mouse with your remote is absolutely a game changer
edit: I mean you move your hand around with the controller to control the cursor
Use a usb extension cable and use the OEM usb cable for the webcam.

These cables (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B014RWATK2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) DO NOT WORK. I confirmed it just now with mine. With a regular old USB 2.0 extension cable, the controllers work fine.
Typically you're not supposed to use one but I use one and have zero issues.

I bought both of these and it works flawlessly as far as I can tell. I run an EVGA GTX 1060 6GB.
Also, I own an Odyssey as well.
Usually what I do is run the ones behind the monitor down the back of the monitor desk mount, then back behind/under the desk using either cable channels or mountable zip ties, and then buy extensions for any of the cables on amazon if I need them
These are the cables I used:

I used the following to help with all of my USB devices.

The rest of the wires were of adequate length, since I hung the pc behind my desk. I did cover the lose wires with these sleeves to help keep them more organized.

I use this hdmi extender and usb extension cable. I used a spare hdmi cable I had.
Just make sure to follow the input and output on the hdmi extender. It won’t work otherwise and you risk spending an hour trying to figure out why.
Same, so I bought an USB 3.0 extension cable, which helped tremendously.

It comes with a HDMI and USB 3.0 permanently connected to it. If you're wanting extenders, I bought these off Amazon

Keep in mind you'll also need a USB 3.0 port. They're colored blue. The HMD also plugs into this, in addition to the HDMI.
do you think the problem is the USB cable adapter they provide. I am wondering if a different usb extension would do the trick. Like this one.

There are the USB 3.0 and HDMI cables I ordrered. Worked for both my headset and one of my sensors. I gave the extra HDMI to my friend for his Oculus he just ordered.
