I have a few suggestions.

Make the stuff the responsibility of the person who wants it. Their job to deal with them, and they must store them in their own space. This might change their minds about how important the stuff is, but even if it doesn't, the stuff is dealt with.

Sound and video discs can take up a fraction of the space if you take them out of their plastic cases and store them in a binder like this. I took my CD music library from a wall shelf down into two of those binders. It was amazing.

Digitizing the music/video takes the least space of all, and 1 TB external hard drives are now about $60. The major "expense" is time in ripping the files. Again that should also be the responsibility of the person who wants to keep it.

I use the AmazonBasics CD Wallet. It holds all of the tiles that are up to 4x4, for all of the expansions, with room to spare. Then I just put the tiles that are longer than 4 spaces in a Ziploc bag, separated by expansion.

That's an easy way for them to get dusty or damaged. Just buy a disc case like this one and sort them in alphabetical order.

I went through this last year. I ended up following a KonMari-style method: a combination of keeping what made me happy and finding the best way to keep it organized.

Here's what I did:

• Consolidated my consoles/games. I realized I didn't need a Wii since I had a Wii U, didn't need an N64 if I could get all of my games on Virtual Console, etc. Sold/donated all redundancies
  
• Laid out all of my remaining physical games on the floor. Picked up each game one by one and thought about them. If I had particularly fond memories of the game and holding it excited me, I had beaten it, and I intended to play it again someday, I kept it. Every other game that didn't meet this criteria was sold/donated
  
• Realized the game cases took up a lot of space and didn't bring me joy, so I sold/donated all of my game cases
  
• Bought this disc binder and two of these DS/3DS card cases from Amazon. The card cases fit inside the binder, so every single one of my physical games lives inside this binder. It makes me very happy

I'd still take the physical copies with you if you can.

Grab a CD binder and throw the disks and covers in there, and forget about the plastic clamshell cases for now. Those are cheap to buy later anyway.

I use the Plano tackle box, DVD case, and Card binder storage solution and it works really well.

so another user posted this except for he linked the wrong storage box. Ill link the storage box that would work for it all. If you paint minis then i would suggest possibly felt/foam lining the plano storage boxes. This really is a great way to store the game.

Putting them in a binder lets you more easily find a specific card they fit in these sheets even with card sleeves. I bought a nice binder that has slip sleeves in it so that I can store all the rules and skirmish/mission pamphlets along with the sleeved card sheets.The CD case holds any tile 4 spaces wide I keep the larger tiles separate and was able to fit every expansion in the CD case.

I use a large cd case. Most will fit in the cd slots. The massive tiles go in a bag that I slide in the back of the cd case. With all the expansions, I'm about 3/4 of the way full. I used pluck foam in each of the areas where I have painted figures to keep them from moving around. Bantha rancor and AT-STs don't fit but I used pluck foam to make an insert in my large core box to hold the large figures.

Used this stuff to line my figures in the tackle box and create an insert for the core box. Might be worth getting two sets to have extra plucked foam for minis in the tackle box. If they're unpainted you should be fine to do without though.

I can post pictures when I get home. I don't have everything from Jabba's realm in there yet and I haven't made the rancor insert yet but it definitely will fit.

I found an old CD case that I still had CDs in. I had to clean off the dust and remove the old CDs, but afterwards it works very well.

The largest tiles will not fit, but I got all but maybe 2 from the core set into the binder.


I would say anything with a soft sleeve should work. Maybe something like this? Amazon

1 - Soft-sided CD/DVD holder for the map tiles. You can fit all but the two largest in a CD wallet though the long ones overlap the top CD sleeve a bit when placed in the lower pocket.

2 - bought the foam organizer for the base box, with the map tiles in the DVD holder it frees up more space in the foam organizer.

3 - all cards are in thick sleeves to prevent damage. I use Mayday Games MDG-7075 and MDG-7078. Thinking I will laminate the character cards or use photo-negative sleeves to protect them (still investigating).

4 - 3 ring binder to store all the cards except consumables, condition cards, etc (basically anything that you only need to pull 'some' of at the start of a match).

Something along the lines of this (I bought them in both sizes for IA at my local FLGS, $0.25 / page isn't bad at all). 3 ring binder with velcro closure was $3.00 at GoodWill.

5 - small PLANO organizer for all of the extra figures that I can't fit into the foam organizer...looking at a small case for figures, waiting on funds and to see what the other expansions will require.

6 - random Acrylic organizers bought at the Dollar Store. We use them for storing tokens as the 3 compartment with lid has been perfect so far. Condition tokens, crates, terminals, etc all sorted to a degree into those.

Hope some of that makes sense. I opted for foam for the core set rather than the Broken Token organizer because I intend to paint our collection as soon as it warms up a bit, don't want to use primer indoors and its too cold and wet outside to properly paint.
