I've tested out several different ones. Honestly, I didn't like any of the silicone covers. Silicone is supposed to be breathable, but these did nothing for stopping sweat from wicking the sweat to the cloth Quest covering, and they feel 'sticky' after just a bit of use if you take them off and put them back on, even with an alcohol wipe-down (the silicone absorbs a bit).


Also, I don't recommend any of the cloth covers. From my tests after a single wash even in cold-water by hand, they end up stretching in all the wrong ways and tough to get aligned right without leaving gaps or interfering with vision.

My favorite has been a leather cover. The AMVR cover comes with a replacement bracket with velcro attached and two different thickness leather covers. It also has notches in the top corners for the glasses arms. It comes with a nose guard that sticks with double-sided tape at the bottom to block out light, but I don't use that. I got mine on Amazon for $30.


If you do really want to go with silicone, the best of the bunch that I've tried was the "VR Face Silicone Cover Mask & Face Pad" from a seller named Devansi on Amazon. I had to trim around the inside a bit so it didn't interfere with vision.

BTW, the reason why I have tested so many different Quest products (covers, batteries, cords, cases) is to recommend setups for VR training. I wanted to find the best ones that would allow easy wipe-down in-between sharing among different user.

Edit: used it for a couple hours playing Gun Club VR. Everything fit perfectly. I’m pleased with my purchase. I don’t wear glasses, so I’m not sure about that fit.

Wipes down easy, feels pretty comfortable.

Unfortunately it’s out of stock right now, but I got the AMVR facial interface and it has helped a ton with this issue. I don’t get the red marks that I used to, and the face pad doesn’t “scratch” so much. Hopefully it’ll be back in stock soon!

Gap doesn't bother me, but if it really bugs you get a small microfiber cloth for cleaning glasses, fold it once or twice, and place it on the bridge of your nose. Then, put this on your amazon wishlist and order it when you get the in stock notification...

i got those both for free , used and bought other similar stuff that was shipping was suprised to end up liking the free (valueless) stuff i would only keep for the eventual resale value.


Cases and batteries come down to the preference. i prefer nothing but velcro ties to hold the battery at this point. to fit in travel cases easier and to swap with different sized batteries

I use one of these, its designed to keep sweat out if your eyes and if you have hair it will stop your hair dripping sweat on to your headset, its also thinner than a sweatband. I would also advise getting a sweatproof face gasket from vrcover or amvr

I got mine off Amazon a few days ago and it's absolutely horrendous, the nose pad doesn't keep the light out, it's supposed to be attached with a sticky pad that wasn't included, the face plate is a bit loose and doesn't attach properly on the bottom and if you wear glasses it pulls your glasses of when you take the quest off.

Fingers crossed yours isn't like the one I got.
