Taking drugs does not make you super objective. It might seem that the self is erased and you are seeing from a "God's eye view" but you're still seeing it as interpreted by the self. It can maybe be useful to understand that the idea of a god's eye view exists, but people should be more humble than to assume they have perfectly experienced an absolute objective one.

If you want to know about a vaguely related book though, I haven't yet read it, but this cornerstone japanese book on ethics apparently has content that involves trying to experience a kind of ego death in order to see morality from the point of view of the whole.
