An Introduction to the New Testament
Biblical Studies is so diverse, interdisciplinary and multi-faceted. It's really down to what you REALLY want to study, especially if you do a ph.D or D.Phil where you'll be researching your project for 3-5 years. If you like history and archaeology, you could go into any of (but not limited to): Dead Sea Scrolls research, The Conquest (Joshua-Judges) etc. Some good introductory books to read are:
