Hey, thanks for the suggestion, I appreciate it. :) I actually did some research and discovered that Stanford has an entire society dedicated to their history, in addition to a section dedicated to rare and antiquarian books. So I went ahead and emailed them about it, I figured they could ignore the email if they liked, and on the off chance someone was interested, I could find out something interesting. Hopefully no one there gets too annoyed by a 2 paragraph email. :P

In the meantime, I've been working google kung fu, and I thought you might be interested to know that I think I found Olive Cole Smith. She appears to be the granddaughter of Deborah Goldsmith Throop, who was actually an artist and her work is now displayed in different museums. Not really my style art, but still kind of cool. Mrs. Olive Cole Smith actually wrote a book in her lifetime compiling the papers of her family.

That being said, I still can't really find a connection between her and Mr. Jordan, but still, its interesting. I just wanted to share. :)
