They still do. Midas Touch is an ancient ale, available all year long. Sadly, they've not done any of their OTHER ancient ales in a while. If OP is interested, he should read Uncorking the Past, great read on how ancient brewing began. He also has another book coming out soon, Ancient Brews Rediscovered and re-created

Not an exact answer, but consider reading Ancient Brews by Pat McGovern. He's a Biomolecular Archeologist that works with Dogfish Head on their ancient beers, and the book has chapters about Theobroma (their chile, annatto, chocolate beer) and chicha. The problem with the archaeology seems to be that all they can say is that a vessel at some point contained all of the ingredients, but the amounts, technique, timing etc. is all guess work.

The book includes the Dogfish Head recipes, but generally these seem to be more "inspired" by the original rather than attempted recreations. I wish McGovern had taken the chance to formulate his "best guess" ignoring the constraints of marketability, cost, regulations etc.

I haven't read it so someone else can chime in with further detail but Ancient Brews sounds like something you'd be interested in.

Quick! Someone get Pat McGovern and Sam Calagione! Maybe a new Ancient Brew will result from this.
