Whey flying, I just take one of these, with a long cord and multiple usb outlets. Works well in airports.

On shorter trips (up to couple hours from home) one of these is super portable and great for charging phones without an outlet. (would be nice if it would charge with lightning so I could reuse the cable)

If you are looking to optimize further I currently use this charger for my Apple watch to avoid excess cables.

I actually use it in combination with these retractable cables.

And these magnetic adapters.

And plug them all in to one brick.

If anyone's interested I can post pictures of my setup. It is great for my Apple watch , airpods, iPhone, iPad, and camera charger. Really cut down on my cable management . It's super good because now every device I charge uses the same cables and is basically a magsafe cable.

I use both Android and iOS so maybe I can help. For home charging I use an Anker 5 port charger that I bought off Amazon it work well and charges incredibly fast. They actually have an updated one that suppprts quick charge 3.0 but I have no experience with it.

For my car I use an Anker 24W dual port car charger. It charges super fast. You can find it here.

Cases are all subjective. I tend to own multiple cases but I always come back to the Apple leather case and a Poetic Affinity case depending on my needs. UAG cases are fantastic also.

I owned a Moto 360 and currently hold an Apple Watch. My Apple Watch is a day 1 and I can count on 1 hand the days I have not worn it. I love it. I prefer it to Android Wear but again this is subjective.

My biggest advice to you is give it time. If this is your first iOS device you will be looking for a back button out of habit. It's probably the most common complaint with iOS is no back button. However you can swipe in from the left side of the screen and it will bring you back. I much prefer that to a back button.

I have not tried the stock charger at all.

I actually own two of those:

https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Charger-PowerPort-Multi-Port-Samsung/dp/B00VH958F0/ref=sr_1_cc_1?s=aps&ie=UTF8&qid=1504123386&sr=1-1-catcorr&keywords=anker+40W

They are charging with about 2.8 A at 4.8V which gets the device fully charged.

There is also a thread I just stumbled upon about charging which mentions some USB-C PD chargers that might be worth a try:

Regarding the stock Ubuntu: I would get rid of that as soon as possible as the guys at GPD seem not to have any real clue about porting Linux/Ubuntu properly.

There are several options to switch to a better distribution that most likely causes less trouble as Hans did a great job working on an awesome kernel.

You want a multi-port USB "charging" up, which has multiple high-current ports. Two of these would suffice: https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Charger-PowerPort-Multi-Port-Samsung/dp/B00VH958F0

Use this and it works great. It’s great to be able to charge both my phones and xd plus at once too.

Is this the one? It says it is not QC2.0. Thanks.
