  • I've had my light strips for years so I can't provide a specific ID for mine. I linked to a set that uses the same wifi controller as mine but you can shop around. I used 4 strips to do the bed backlighting, under-lighting and desk backlighting

  • If you have a led strip that doesn't have a wifi controller, you can purchase a compatible controller to take advantage of home automation

It's not fashion, but maybe the issue isn't necessarily your shoes. Do you have an anti-fatigue mat with your desk? If not, I highly recommend getting one (something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Sky-Comfort-Fatigue-Kitchens-Standing/dp/B00M8O122G/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_229_t_0)

I use this Sky mat for Skyrim..using any comfort mat makes a huge difference...that and the be seated mod with a chair behind the mat for when I'm reading books.

Search for toppers or mods for his favorite pin that he owns, if he keeps them and doesn't flip them frequently (changing every 6-12 months).

Otherwise, here are some additional ideas:

1. Search for the original pinball fliers for his machines; I have these framed for reach of my games and love them.
   
2. Buy him anti-fatigue kitchen mats to go under his games. No one thinks of this and everyone loves them. Here's the Amazon link:

I definitely didn't get there overnight. The first few months were a bit painful but I persisted through that.

These days I usually find sitting to be more uncomfortable. I suppose the way I fixed my terrible sitting posture was to stop sitting. :P

Set them up where he games. He can stomp and punch all he wants.

After 3 years of begging, near-crippling leg pain, and waking up in the middle of the night feeling like my legs were on fire, literally earlier this month my pharmacy finally got me this fatigue mat. I don't make enough to buy it myself considering it could easily just mysteriously disappear (I have an asshole coworker) one day from the pharmacy and nobody would know where it went (Steve's car).

A fatigue mat helps a ton!

I do also play sitting. Using an office chair. I adjust my height to compensate using the advanced settings plugin. I also disable the chaperone.
