I have really bad anxiety (social and general) as well, so it wasn't easy for me to start wearing it, but despite the jokes and looks it does make me feel safer.
I got this mask. Comes with 2 filters, but you can buy replacement filters in their own pack for cheap. I like the different colors they have, makes me feel less like people think I'm going to rob a store if I walk in wearing it. It's really well-made, and you can adjust the ear loops depending on your ear size. And depending on if you use glasses or not, I can confirm this is adjustable to the point where it won't fog up glasses (or sunglasses).
I know now how bad a cold is with MS, even without a DMT lowering the immune system. When cold and flu season comes, I'll likely be wearing masks constantly (so will probably get several more to change out through the week).
Bonus: If you have any sort of environmental allergies, the filters that go in these do block those out. My hay fever and allergy to dust are complete non-issues with the mask on.
