The AP Gov Crash Course Book has been extremely helpful for me. It's a short read, with only 177 pages total, but contains everything you would need to know.
I'm taking AP US Government this year and I used a similar book last year for AP US History and it helped a lot, I got a 4 on my AP. The used ones are under $10. Thanks for the contest.

On YouTube: CGP Grey is awesome, also look into AP test prep books. The Crash Course one on US government is awesome. All the info condensed and easy to read.
