my CD player went out almost a week after I got my car. it was a certified used car though, so I got it replaced. the disc error is not related to the battery. replace it :(
the key fobs may have become dissociated with the car. or, even with new batteries, they are prone to simply not making contact because of solder joints going bad. both of my remotes went so I got 2 brand new ones from amazon (likely not OEM)
if it isn't the batteries then unfortunately you have to go to a dealer for this or a shop that has a GM Tech2 in order to pair the key fobs again. some locksmiths have it or may have another tool that can do it. it is a 1 minute task getting them to pair again, but you just cannot do it from the car like you can with the chip keys.
