The novel covers the main Odyssey quest/storyline. I’ve read the novel to the same point as I have reached in the game as I don’t want any spoilers 😁

It is written with Kassandra as the Misthios as she is the canon character. It’s been quite fun to read the story in this way, where your gameplay allows you visualise what the author is describing. I’m certainly no literary critic; the book is fine, it’s no classic but it’s certainly readable and fast-paced.

I wasn’t going to buy it, but I was just browsing on Amazon for Odyssey-related stuff and saw a special offer for the novel, the official game guide and a book detailing the artwork of the game, and since a fool as his money are easily parted, I bought all three. The artwork book is really nice.

The director said on his AMA here that this is the canon story.

Anyway I had the same argument on my previous thread today. My question here is more to see if people think it's possible to include a linear option.
