Reddit reviews Astro City: Life in the Big City (New Edition)

The beauty of Astro City is that you can start almost anywhere. There is not a single over-arching plot, and very few issues rely on any previously known backstory.

However, the best place to start is probably the beginning. Go by the list of collections on Wikipedia and start with the first one: Astro City: Life in the Big City.

For further reading of Busiek's stuff, I recommend either Superman: Secret Identity or Astro City: Life in the Big City. I have been a fan of his for a while now.
