Thanks! Just picked up ASUS ROG STRIX Z370-E GAMING LGA1151 for 140.
How does this compare to the ASUS ROG STRIX Z370-E GAMING for someone looking to upgrade to an i7-8700k for vr gaming?

The parts are
8700k
Mobo z370
2x8gb ddr4
Kraken x62 to keep the cpu cool
Thx 1080(had to drop the ti due to prices)
M.2 ssd for boot drive
2tb hdd for storage

If you have extra change invest in noctua high static pressures fan to optimize cooling

With out knowing which cpu you were looking at I just chose a random chipset. But from the pictures it looks like it takes both connectors on this board. You just need to find one with two usb 3 input slots
Take a look at ROG Strix z370-e -- solid board with built-in wifi/bluetooth for controller/mouse/headphone/whatever.
That board you are looking at doesn't have wifi/bluetooth so you will have to buy an extra card if you want that functionality.
Weird. Those ports are just connected to computers. Modern computers. Should be able to handle 1000M easily.
This is the motherboard that they all use, ethernet cables are plugged directly into the motherboard. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075RHWCC4
These are the cat6 cables they all use (even the 1000M/Full ones) https://www.monoprice.com/product?c_id=102&cp_id=10232&cs_id=1023201&p_id=3436&seq=1&format=2
Processor: i7 8700K
Heatsink: Thermaltake Floe Triple Riing RGB 360 TT Premium Edition for my heatsink
Motherboard: ASUS ROG STRIX Z370-E GAMING

I do not overclock and or planning on it in the future.
While playing Battlefield 1, these are my temps: https://i.imgur.com/c47zLZi.jpg
In between loading from the last map to the next, the temps can jump up to 72c. That's the highest I've seen them but they only stay like that for a bit of time.
Are those temperatures too hot? I had used Arctic Silver 5 for the thermal.

sorry forgot to copy it in
Question, can it run at all without bios update? I may have fucked up lol since i got an ASUS ROG Strix Z370-E without a processor and that was like 3 months ago. I was waiting for this processor. I'm a sad Panda
No expert here, but I got this a little over a year ago https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075RHWCC4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
to pair with a i7-8700k. Currently OC'd to 4.5 ghz with a Corsair H60, and is a beast.
I'll throw out the board and keep the CPU. Any recommendations on a great board for the i7? I'm hearing to search for a Z370, but not sure which one to choose. Does this one sound any good?
Will this SSD work with this motherboard?
On the Amazon US page they have mentioned about Bluetooth for E gaming and ppl also confirmed in Q&A.

I did look a bit at the ROG Strix Z370-E Gaming
Thanks for this! With the Cryorig H7 or C7, is one better? They both are around the same price but look pretty different - is one not designed for my case?
The Asus ROG STRIX Z2370-E looks perfect. Amazon is selling a newer version of it here for like $60-70 more: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07HCPLQ2H/ref=crt_ewc_title_dp_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A19N3NI8X4F24J
I don't need that, right? My Intel CPU is 8th gen (I think) so I'm fine getting this version? https://www.amazon.ca/Strix-Gaming-Motherboard-Generation-Processors/dp/B075RHWCC4/ref=pd_sbs_147_1?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B075RHWCC4&pd_rd_r=88efbe82-ed06-11e8-bf90-4b2d1b246f8c&pd_rd_w=7Uyb0&pd_rd_wg=csDqW&pf_rd_i=desktop-dp-sims&pf_rd_m=A3DWYIK6Y9EEQB&pf_rd_p=d4c8ffae-b082-4374-b96d-0608daba52bb&pf_rd_r=747BPA5FFVCN5Y99175T&pf_rd_s=desktop-dp-sims&pf_rd_t=40701&psc=1&refRID=747BPA5FFVCN5Y99175T
Thanks so much! Do you have any recommendations on a Z370 motherboard and DDR4 RAM set? I am looking at the below for both.

And I want to know if these in particular will fit the case ...

graphics card
Does anyone know if this motherboard in the link posted below will work with an i9-9900k? Still new to understanding chipset and CPU generation. And if it will, will the CPU be bottlenecked or not be used to it's full potential by the motherboard?

Also the Z270E on Amazon is out of stock so it'll take some time ot ship, why not get the Z370E instead? It's $7 more and will ship now https://smile.amazon.com/LGA1151-Motherboard-802-11ac-Generation-Processors/dp/B075RHWCC4/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1520207062&sr=8-2&keywords=ASUS+ROG+STRIX+Z270E
