The OG ROG phone is cool and all, with its front facing speakers, 90hz OLED etc. That said, I would be wary of the ROG sub brand, as the OG is still on Oreo, which is laughable for a phone that costs €850 to this day.
I will even be closely watching updates on Zenfone 6, as Asus promised it to be one of the first devices on Q. I understand it has a much lighter skin than ROG phone, but that is not an excuse and I'd be pissed is I payed my hard earned money for it. They don't have a good track record and have to prove themselves with more than just promises.
Another question mark is sturdiness, quite a few people reported the phone being fragile and breaking easily: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/reviews/B07GS272K7/ref=cm_cr_arp_mb_hist_1?ie=UTF8&filterByStar=one_star&pageNumber=1

So yeah, I am excited that first OLED 120hz phone's coming, but I don't forsee much success.
Semi cross post from r/Battlestations , this is my Pocket Battlestation setup I use in conjunction with Parsec/Moonlight for low latency gaming on the go!
The phone itself is great for Emulators which I usually use a PS4 controller for(until the office gamevice is released), but with Parsec and the super portable mouse/keyboard combo I get full use of my home PC from virtually anywhere.

In the picture I am playing Star Citizen over LTE with almost no noticeable latency and have tested out desktop access, CoD: BO4, and several other online games with almost no issues.

My bad. 899 CAD + import fees & shipping, not USD. So for us Canadians, up into the $1000+ range.
