Not a device, but still these are hardware recommendations. Anyone buying a USB-C phone for the first time, you'll probably want to buy some new cables for it, so that you have extras, and other charging accessories.

Since there have been reports of various issues with USB-C cables and accessories, I thought I would share the ones I bought that have worked very well.

This is a set of 5 cables of varying length. They are pretty stiff, but they feel durable, and have worked very well for me thus far with my HTC 10.

And as a bonus, this car charger is a QC 3.0 charger. It works very well, and I have been quite pleased.

I just bought these aukey cables and am impressed by the quality so far.

How about these from Aukey

I picked up this 5 pack to give myself some variety, it comes with a 1 foot cable as well as 3 1m cables and one long 6 footer. These cables are extremely well made.

I bought these a couple of months ago and they're an absolute godsend. I'm assuming you've lost the 6 inch USB-A to USB-C cable that came in the box with your 6P. This link is for a 5 pack of USB-C to USB-A cables of varying lengths for just $20:

These are probably the nicest USB type C cables out there. Yes, they're expensive, but they're absolutely worth it in my opinion. Thick, braided cables, with aluminum connector housings. They feel very durable, and fast charging and such work great.

Came from the OG Turbo as well. To start, a USB C to USB C cord and charger are included in the box along with a USB A to USB C so that was nice. I also bought these and have had no issues. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01B634WNK/ref=ya_aw_oh_bia_dp?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I originally missed the Moto actions where you could wave over your phone for notifications but double tapping the Pixel is essentially the same. You can double press power and that opens the camera so the twist feature is just replaced. You can swipe down or up on the fingerprint sensor to pull down quick settings and notifications which I use constantly. The double chop for flashlight isn't on the Pixel which is in thing I do miss.

Battery life obviously isn't as good as the Turbo but with USB C quick charging it's really not a big deal.

It feels much more premium and less bulky than the Turbo for sure. I picked up the Turbo the other day and was amazed at how heavy it felt compared to the Pixel. I had a case on it but wanted the real feel of the phone so I put a D Brand skin on it. Protects against minor things but I'm also pretty careful and have only dropped it once. A fall on cement will still ding the corner.

In general Nugget is so fluid and responsive you'll love it from the start. You can resize the apps, nav buttons, and overall UI to your liking which is great as well.

If I think of anything else I'll update.

OP, remember that anecdotal evidence is not evidence. However, if anecdotes work for you, then do you. Just keep in mind that we have reviews for a reason.

You have these cables (googled the model number on that box). The reviews are positive and Fakespot gives it a B.

Notably, AUKEY states that these are Benson-approved. But, the proof is in the pudding and there ain't any dessert tonight, boys.

> You can use any USB A C connector that supports quick charge. Ignore all the controversy about people saying "USB type C doesn't support quick charge"

A lot of people had concerns about USB C not supporting QC.

> No, most phones use USB 2 type C. USB 3 only has faster data transfer speeds. However, the port matters. USB 2 delivers only 500mA, USB 3 delivers more.

When charging from a computer port, USB 3 delivers higher mA than USB 2, meaning faster charging speeds. The main reason to get USB 3 over USB 2 is for the faster data transfer speeds.

Anyway, don't get thrown off by too much information.
