That's not the point.

The point is that both last years and the new gen of iphones support fast charging. You need a different lighting cable as well as base mount in order to do it (the normal iphone charger is a 5watt charger, fast-charging is using something like this 42 watt charger)

So yes you can totally still use all your old iphone and ipad charging stations and cables. The problem is you're not going to be able to take advantage of the much faster charging speeds.

Think of it like filling a tank with water. The current iphones all fill up with a pipe that's 1 inch around. It takes a while but it gets the job done. The two latest generation have a opening that is 5 inches around so if you are using a bigger pipe, you can fill it up much much faster. You can of course still use the old 1 inch tubes but it's not taking advantage of the fact that your new one can accept a much faster stream of water to fill it up.

Does that help?

It took me ages of research to find new releases for items like this. Here's the Amazon link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074C2VZ2T/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I've been loving the charger so far. Incredibly quick.

Check to see if it can run on 45W. There’s a good chance it can unless it’s running at a very high load. Some of the reviews will monitor power usage, and if it’s okay with 45W you can some smaller options.

I quite like this charger, and it’s perfect for travel as it also includes a normal charging port.

Can you fix your post format, please?

-No, you only can replace the M.2 SSD with higher capacity or buy an external SSD

-Only if it's throttling too fast you should replace the thermal paste, maybe you can use Arctic MX-4. Undervolting it with ThrottleStop / XTU. I'm using ThrottleStop because XTU can't run on my laptop and it's very light.

-egpu.io is the best source for eGPU setup, check that website. I think Aorus/Gigabyte Gaming Box is really good eGPU

-Connect wired keyboard-mouse to the TB3 box

-Yes, TB3 output has enough power to recharge your laptop

-For on-the-go setup, you should buy USB-C charger that has 1 more port, maybe something like this https://www.amazon.com/AUKEY-Charger-Delivery-MacBook-Samsung/dp/B074C2VZ2T so you can charge your phone and headphones (I don't know a charger with >2 USB ports), a Bluetooth mouse

I have this laptop and yes it does support USB C charging. I use this one however, you want portable charging. The first one seems to be possible. All you need is to assure your charging method is of 45 watts and supports power delivery.

I grabbed a 46w (56.5 total with additional 2.1A USB A port) Aukey on amazon for $35 and have it in my hand already

Your case looks pretty tight. I'm not sure if it will fit, but consider the AUKEY USB C Charger with 46W USB-C Power Delivery 3.0 & 5V/2.1A Ports (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074C2VZ2T/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_dtoPAbAY89VQT). It has both port types and the C port will deliver enough power to run the dock/charge a laptop.

u/heathenyak · 2 pointsr/SurfaceGo

I use this one.

You have to decide what is more cost/time efficient for you between buying a new charger like one of the above or exchanging your c302.

u/acali_ny · 2 pointsr/NintendoSwitchDeals

I bought this one since it has USB C and an extra USB A port (which I can use for my phone). 46 Watts on the USB C port too.

I just didn't like how the 60W one has to be plugged into the wall with a cable rather than mounted right on the outlet. But for that sale price it might be worth it to grab one.

It sounds like you have not actually ordered yet, so here's a suggestion for Bluetooth earbuds:

Anker Soundbuds Slim are very similar to the ones you are looking at, but they support aptX HD (So they will sound better and have lower latency) and are cheaper. I have the Soundbuds Curve which feature a slightly different design. They are super comfortable and sound great, so I expect the Slims will work just as well. Lots of people recommend both styles in any thread asking for Bluetooth suggestions.

I really like this wall charger. Bluetooth headphones that charge via USB-C are basically non-existent, so this lets me charge the accessories while also charging my phone at full speed.

The Whitestone Dome is good, but they have awful customer service if you have any issues. Especially since you are going through a forwarder, taking weeks to get a resolution if you have an issue might be a deal breaker for you.

u/luckytran · 2 pointsr/chromeos

This Aukey charger should do the trick. Both A and C ports, 46W power delivery, plugs into the wall, and smaller than the anker version. Haven't tested myself though, was holding out for something in between the aukey and anker version in terms of ports/size LOL

FWIW, I have good experiences with this:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074C2VZ2T/

I've used it to power my official dock (inside a smaller case) for travel.

u/staythepath · 1 pointr/NintendoSwitch

I bought and use this and this. Am I at any risk or does this seem safe?

u/charlespax · 1 pointr/onebag

My current laptop is the Huawei Matebook X. I use and Aukey power adapter (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074C2VZ2T) and battery pack (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07JK63TSJ). The battery pack can actually charge the laptop. The power adapter can charge both the laptop and battery pack. I have one long usb-c to usb-c cable and one short one (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DNSYH7R) that each do USB 3.1 speeds. It's great having a usb-c setup like this. Super light and lots of charging options.

u/kpanda12 · 1 pointr/Surface

I use these with my SL2 for USB C charging and they work fine.

... And then any quality USB C to C cable. I use mostly Anker, as I've had the best luck with that brand. I can also get it to charge (more slowly though) with the Anker PowerCore Speed 20100 mAh battery.

I see. So if I wanted to carry only one charger, I'd have to get something with two ports like this and still carry around two cables? (One USB-C to C for the Chromebook and one USB-C to USB-A for the phone?)

If the same cable that charges your laptop won't charge a microusb device with the adapter, it's probably a bad adapter. I've used the AmazonBasics c to micro cable without issue from by a type c charger and a MacBook pro. Does charging your phone via the type c/lightning cable work?

Personally, I went the route of a multiport charger. I use this one. It's a little sketchy on delivering the full 60w via type c, but works great otherwise. Unfortunately, I haven't found a 60w option from a (relatively) reputable company. Closest I've seen is 45w or 30w.

u/Constant_Tilt · 1 pointr/GooglePixel

I was looking more for a brick with multiple outlets, not necessarily all USB-C tho. Perhaps this from Aukey would be better option?

I really doubt you need to worry about frying your devices. Also, if you want to charge to the max, you'll need new cables. Those USB A cords don't usually cut it. You'd be better off buying some usbc to lighting cables and usbc to usbc cables to keep around the house.

Don't worry about 3.0 cords either. Sounds like you'll need 2.0 cords only.

That's totally fair. But don't think there aren't people who think that Apple made usb c. I've met more than a couple :P

And here is a more expensive, but high quality USB C charger that is still half the price of a Mac charger.
