I feel like an "outlier" here in that I don't really have an HG anything. I have products that I like in all categories, but I feel like there are tons of options that work for me.

As for the body wash thing, you might consider one of the Aveeno fragrance free body washes. I use this one in the winter when my skin is really dry and itchy and it always works well for me.

I've got OCD, and while my picking isn't as compulsive as some people's, it's a bitch. I've also got KP on my arms and thighs, and get incredibly ingrown hairs from shaving (and even when not shaving, but far fewer).

What I do. Scrubby nylon cloth with Aveeno unscented moisturizing body wash. Scrub scrub scrub, especially my upper arms and legs where the KP is.

After the shower, pat dry and apply Gold Bond Rough and Bumpy, which literally took me an entire tub to learn how to apply: hint, it's very thick, and doesn't spread easily, but use less than you think, because otherwise it just pills up and flakes off and is sticky and gross. But use just a little every day and it's magical.

Bonus avoiding picking: wear clothes that make it hard to pick; long tight pants, long sleeve shirts, socks, whatever. I compulsively pick at my toenails, and it's the grossest thing ever, so I wear socks 95% of the time so I can't physically pick at my feet.

Optional- I've stopped shaving, because the ingrown hairs just weren't worth it at all, but using an old fashioned safety razor and a new blade every shave (and only shaving once a week) really helped reduce the ingrowns. I used one side of the blade per leg. But like I said, I still got ingrown hair no matter what I did, so I've got body hair now and very few ingrown hairs comparatively. YMMV

I had no idea body wash might be a part of it. I currently use this fragrance-free body wash/ with a sponge loofa everyday, but I honestly can't tell if my hands are getting any softer. Are people with soft hands generally self-aware? I mean, I've only met one guy with super soft hands before and whenever I shake hands with someone who has super soft hands (very rare even for women), I complement them on it.

I will ask my mom to get me some of those salux cloths I guess.

I have sensitive skin so I use Aveeno unscented body wash. I rely on my deoderant and cologne to make me smell good. I wash and condition my hair with [Tea Tree Special](https://www.amazon.com/Tea-Tree-Special-Shampoo-33-8/dp/B000MD65FO/ref=sr_1_4_s_it? s=beauty&ie=UTF8&qid=1538936075&sr=1-4&keywords=tea%2Btree%2Bshampoo&th=1) shampoo and conditioner. I also tend to get red bumps from ingrown hair on my thighs (weird I know) so I use a 10% benzol peroxide wash for that.

I like Dove Body Wash for Sensitive Skin. My bottle just ran out and I'm tempted to purchase this Aveeno Active Naturals one next.
