This is what I use. Just ordered several more actually. Dimensions:

These used to sit on built in shelves, but I just bought a half-height half-width Ikea Billy with a Glass door to display them instead. Set it up last night actually. Glass shelves with one of these on each shelf. The craftsmanship on each step-display is inconsistent, but for the price it is great.

I can upload a photo of my previous setup and new setup (as of last night) using the risers if you like.

Sure. These are what I got, though I definitely got them cheaper (the price fluctuates so much). Don't spend more than $15 on these, the quality isn't that great; they look exactly like you see in the picture, screws and all, and aren't too stable.

If you don't mind acrylic, Azar? I imported a wider one from Amazon US for ~£23.50. Delivery took 1 week.

Since you have a bunch of tiny figures you could display the most out of them with different kinds of raisers like this one or something more crazy like this one. I just linked the first thing I found, I bet you could get a better deal if you search a bit more.
