I can't recommend enough splurging a bit for boroscillate glass meal prep containers. Much better leak control. They don't absorb smells/flavors/colors. Easy to wash and last just about forever. something like these I have some pyrex ones I got as a wedding gift, so I haven't used the ones I linked but I love mine.
