Infants are used to noise, just FYI - so I wouldn't worry about making it dead silent for her to sleep. I would just sit as far away from the band as possible and put on the muffs. Newborns do alot of sleeping in their car seats and/or in Ergo carriers, etc.

As for feeling guilt about not being "thankful enough" - let that go!! You are full of hormones and it is completely natural to lament big changes. It does not mean you won't love the stuffing out of that little girl when she arrives. I am pregnant with twins myself, and I find myself very cranky that I've progressed so quickly and cannot get done the things I thought I could before their arrival. That's what these forums are for, to get out raw emotions and be supported. We have all been there.
