I've been looking into buying one or the other for a while now. The kit OP built (this one) Seems to have better color separation and better overall detail. The Kotobukiya on the other hand, seems to have much better fine detail (read: needs paint), and much better articulation. Namely in the knees and elbows.

From what I've gathered, if you're willing to put the work into it, you'll probably get a better overall result from the Kotobukiya.

Again, I don't own either, this is just what I've gathered from reading about both.
