I have that exact bipod. It does great for sighting in my rifles.

I also have this on my 10/22 that lets me clip on a semi-permanent bipod to the bottom, and a lazer or flashlight to the side. I love it. This one is metal.

There's another one that's polymer but it doesn't have the sling loop in it, which I really wanted.

Combined with a butler creek folding stock, it's a very nice package.

I got one of these http://www.amazon.com/Picatinny-Barrel-Band-Ruger-10/dp/B004O9AGSE and just used one of the cheap bipods I had from my AR-15 un-tactification.
