If the sytling speaks to you, these are probably fine, but these appear to be standard chinese made, japanese quartz watches popping up all over kickstarter and the internet, claiming some sort of bullshit inspirational or "unique" design. It's all made up garbage.

You can change the band on the majority of watches, including those with steel bracelets, unless the lug is "integrated" into the strap. You just need a $10 tool and a bit of patience. You can get lots of great quality straps from Hadley Roma, Hirsch, Crown and Buckle, and many others for less than the $40 ambassador is charging for theirs.

Most folks are going to recommend you look at Timex, Casio, Citizen, Seiko, and Orient in the sub $250 price range - companies with history of making quality watches.

For cases, I just bought this one from Amazon. It has 10 large slots and the quality is solid for the price. Nice felt interior and pillows.

For spring bar tools I use this one . Nothing fancy but gets the job done. That company also makes decent NATO straps, incidentally.

Just bought my first watch. A Seiko SARB033. Unfortunately, the spring bar/pin pusher tool I bought seems too big when trying to remove links. Are there actually different link pin diameters/should I try to sand down the pin pusher side or the tool to make it work?

it very easy to swap out the stock rubber strap for a bracelet, or any other strap. you just need a spring bar tool. there are lots of youtube videos that show how to do it. it only take about 2-5 mins to swap out. its easy.
