There are a lot of audio interfaces, you'll need to tell us which one you have so we know what you need.

The one on the computer side of things is USB A. The square looking ones are USB B (common for printers and such). Then there's USB Mini, which is what a PS3 controller has. Then there's USB Micro B which is what most android phones have these days. I've seen audio interfaces use all kinds of connectors so again you need to tell us what you have.

Every now and then I see them at frys for like 2$ too, but yeah I'm running 3 Fury's and 1 gridseed off of a 10ft ish extension with a 4 port usb hub at the end with no problems.

If you have dogs or cats I'd buy 10-15 ft cables and chain them... My cats managed to go through 2 of these, so you'll be better off than finding a 50 ft cable (if that exists)

It sounds like your computer is losing connection to your trainer. If you're connecting via an ANT+ adapter, consider getting a USB extension cable. I had the same problem, got a cable and never had the problem again. If you're connecting via Bluetooth, you'll need to move the computer closer to the trainer if possible.

Why don't you just get an extension USB male to female cable?
even an old "non USB 2.0" cable like this one works perfectly. I don't have this exact cable but I use a USB extension cable that I bought back in 2003 or 2004 for my shine 5 and it works perfectly.

Ahh, well for in that case consider a tracker ball for your movie watching needs.

Something like this with a usb extension would allow you to reach your bed/couch and navigate from there. Good thing is you don't need a flat or stable surface to use one, you could hold it upside down in the air and still do fine. The use is very intuitive, if you haven't use one before you might think it will take some getting use to but it doesn't really, feels natural.

I have a regular headset that I use instead of the super uncomfortable one that comes with the PS4. I use a USB extender to plug in the USB side into my PS4 and the mic jack into the controller.

Yes, I know it's extra cords, but for me, it's worth the extra cords for the increased comfort. I use the USB extender anyways because I sit across the room from my PS4, so not a long enough cord for the PS4 controller.

What kind of extender did you use (i.e., was it "active" or just regular)? I looked into USB extension cables a few years ago when I had a difficult IT problem to solve. The USB spec limits cable length to about 15 feet, but "active" cables use a capacitor powered by the USB itself to boost the signal. This reduces the amount of power making it to the end of the cable in order to make sure that the data gets there.
