Kinda kidding, kinda not. You can't actually scratch it because its basically "static" from the nerves reconnecting, but using something like that will still feel good and probably not hurt you.

The itch lasted a few months for me, then feeling gradually came back in my scalp over a period of a few months. Not 100% back to normal around the incision site a year later, but I dunno how much sensitivity you need on the top of your scalp?
