Whales in Space! A happy accident.
I didn’t have any idea what kind of theme I wanted for the nursery, and liking stars and dark blues (I was thinking maybe a celestial theme, but my bedroom is celestial-themed, and that seemed not quite right) I found myself ending up with more than a few whales…
Lucking into the stars and whales print floor mat, I decided just to lean into it, and had a blast designing and making my Space Whale mobile, using craft paper, floral wire, cotton twine, double stick tape and hot glue.

The six papercraft art pieces on the wall represent the six D&D stats/attributes. Also designed and created by me - can you tell which symbols map to Strength, Intelligence, Wisdom, Dexterity, Constitution, and Charisma?

Most of the room is handmade, thrifted/Craigslist/marketplace’d or from TJMaxx, Burlington, etc. so I linked the few things that I could.
