These are the plugs you want. 1/4" fittings

[This is the type of tubing you use with the plugs. 3/16", close enough am I right? lol] (http://www.amazon.com/Standard-Airline-Tubing-Accessories-25-Feet/dp/B0002563MW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1383142677&sr=8-1&keywords=air+pump+tubing)(the clear tubing used for air pumps is a lot easier to work with than the black plastic tubing, which is stiff and likes to bend)

You got a good pump (same as the one you already picked, comes with 5/16" fitting, damn close enough), use plumbers tape and silicone (Waterproof glue) to seal it completely.

Digital timer is good.

I don't think the poly tray will fit all your plants during flower? (you have 4?).

Check out target for different size sterlite containers(for watering trays), those clear plastic ones, see which ones are a good size for you, and home depot/lowes for reservoirs(in the storage section) I don't see those online is the reason.

I would basically set my plants up exactly like in the picture. Tray on top of the reservoir. Drill a hole in the tub cover. Line up the holes, basically what you already presumed.

Picking up the one on the left in this photo might not be too bad of an idea either. If you can find one locally that'd be the cheapest option, hydro stores usually carry them.

You have a table with high sides so it can soak up to half your fabric pot. You add two valves Link A, one for the pump and one for overflow. The pump pumps out of your reservoir two to three times a day bottom feeding your plants. Overflow valve prevents flooding and returns excess to reservoir. The pump drain, when pump is disengaged by timer, drains the table completely into the reservoir.

I've successfully gone on vacation and left my plants for a week with this system and came back to thriving plants for the first time.

You could build your own tray and tote with this part
https://www.amazon.com/Botanicare-Ebb-Flow-Fitting-Extensions/dp/B0002738JQ
Then you'll need a pump. flex tubing and hydroton.

I germinate in doom and heatpad, then when ready, I transplant them to the flood tray filled with hydroton, no net pot needed.

Your lighting is fine for peppers and such.

Research your plant height/width dimensions and try to keep them together.

In my mind this is better cleaner and cheaper than anything you can make with PVC,
https://www.amazon.com/Botanicare-Ebb-Flow-Fitting-Extensions/dp/B0002738JQ

Short one is your inlet long one is your overflow pipe.

I run flood and drain on a table, you could put 3 or 4 plants on a 2x2 table like this

http://growgreenmi.com/black-flood-table-tray-2-x2

You can even diy a kiddie pool for this purpose. Plumb it with an intake and outtake for the water https://smile.amazon.com/Botanicare-Ebb-Flow-Fitting-Extensions/dp/B0002738JQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1485101329&sr=8-1&keywords=ebb+flow+fitting

and use a big container of nute water to fill it. You'd need pumps as well, ~200 to 300 gph maybe, can't remember off hand, harbor freight sells them for cheap. Smart pots work well in a setup like this.

This set of pics of mine is the early stages of my flood and drain journey, before everything was plumbed in. I run more plants in it now.
