But what TheMoneyOfArt is completely right. These products are pretty much meant for wine, beer should really be drank in one sitting. I've only ever used bottle stoppers for wine.

+1 for this opener. It holds a seal pretty well. For 750's I have these:

I've had success with champagne bottle stoppers. I've had better success recapping entirely, but that's not always practical for non-brewers.
