He's asking about electric razors, he's not asking you to tell him how to shave.

I've used a DE and a regular cartridge razor -- but when I'm in a hurry, I use the Braun Series 5-550cc. It's decent.

Obviously it's not as clean a shave as a DE, but it's workable.

The black soap is probably making it worse. It's very drying.

You can have oily skin or you can have dehydrated skin. Dehydrated skin is caused by the disruption of your natural moisture barrier (giggity) by using harsh products that strip the natural oils from your skin. This causes your skin to freak out and overproduce more oil to compensate and you get stuck in this endless loop of face suckage. Oily skin is just oily.

You most definitely need to moisturize (everyone does no matter their skin type) and you most definitely need the sunscreen every day sun, rain, snow, earthquake, etc. It's the best thing you can do to prevent Melanoma and aging. There are so many out there that you should do some research and find out what your skin type is and then explore recommended products. Not everything works for everyone. It's some trial and error.

As for the shaving, I've always gotten really bad razor bumps and ingrown hairs no matter what I try. Most people around here hate them (/r/wicked_edge doesn't like them) but it has made a 110% improvement for me. I use this one because it's got an alcohol solution in the tank and sanitizes it after each use which also helps prevent bacteria transfer on a clean face.

There are "recipes" online to make your own solution so you won't have to buy their cleaning tab things.
