I've been lurking on this sub for a few months now and trying to research as much as I can about Bonsai. This weekend I finally found an acceptable starter sprout! Never knew it could be so hard to find a perfect sized tree.
Plant in Question
Anyways at the nursery it was labelled a Buddhist's Pine (Podocarpus macrophyllus). Can anyone verify this? Online they seem a lot different, but I'm hoping it's because mine are so young.
I already separated, trimmed roots and potted them, but the first picture here is kinda what it looked like when I got them. It had 5 shoots coming out of the soil. Another question, what now? Should I cut some shoots off?
