Kind of depends, really. Some bars take more weight, some are rackable, some have fat handles, some have dual height handles, they have different knurling.

If you're not looking to incorporate them permanently into your routine, go with something like the Titan or CAP varieties. They're cheap but will do what you need them to do. They won't load massive amounts, but it doesn't seem like that's what you need.

However, I would suggest using this as an opportunity to adjust your programming. Trap bars have multiple uses, even more so when you start looking at the open edge varieties, and they are safer and allow more development of strength and explosive movement than traditional deadlift.

Great thx for the info. I tried one last time I went to the commercial gym and it really felt just like a squat. I'll definitely be looking into some other movements to program into my routine with a new bar.. thx again
