The Casio F105W is very similar to the F91. It is just a few dollars more, but it has a MUCH better backlight.

this one. Been rocking it for a few years, still going strong.

Your cheapest bet is probably either the Casio F91W or F105W-1A. The F91W is a classic retro, but the backlight is just a single small LED which isn't great illumination. The F105W-A1 has a full on backlight for better night time legibility. Depending on how much functionality you need there's also what people refer to as the "Casio Royale", and if you need something super rugged but affordable there's of course the DW5600 G-Shock. All of those have an hourly beep/alarm that you can toggle on/off.

Casio has a ton of small, inexpensive, digital watches and pretty much any of them are good. The F91W for example. That thing is tiny and light. I mean like "I forgot I put this on" light. Downside is the back light light is shit. You could get the Illuminator F105W-1A for a better back light, but roughly the same size. Also a bunch of different Databanks if you like the retro nerdy look.

If you need something durable for a job or whatever then the DW5600 is small (for a G-Shock) and tough as nails. Also the GWM5610 upgrade.

You could get a Timex Ironman, depending on what you're doing with it. Ironmans are designed to be running/workout watches mostly.

Try the version where they fixed the backlight issue. This version has the illumination you see on high end Casio digital watches.

Vaihtoehtoisesti voi hankkia vähän hintavamman luksusmallin paremmalla taustavalolla.

Casio EAW-F-105W-1A. It's like the trusty old F-91W, but with a better backlight.

I use my Nexus 5 for alarms and timers. I do wear: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000GB1RAU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 around when I'm sleeping and at home.

I feel like this question doesn't warrant a new thread, so does anyone have wristwatch suggestions? Right now I have this one but I'm thinking of getting a new one.

I agree with LawsListens on this, and we have very similar opinions. I think this is a case where you need to determine what makes it seem cheap to you. For some it is the seemingly random colors on many of the plastic models.

My favorite cheap black model is the Casio F105, but they got it down to blue and grey on black. I think putting these on a nato strap makes them look really sharp, and much less cheap. If you want a silver case look at the Casio A158, or the Royale ( AE1200 ). I have the F105 ( and a couple G-Shocks, but these are way too thick based on what you said ).

There are some nice "Ana-Digi" models that have a small LCD display on an analog watch, and might give you some of what you want, like this AW49, or this AW80. I have never bought any of this, but they seem like a good middle ground.

If you want something a bit more "office acceptable", you probably need to go pure analog, but you are going to give up a number of cool functions that you may use from your digital. If you want something that is inexpensive and tough Casio Duro MDV106, it is a 200m diver, with a stainless steel case, and a screw down crown. These can usually be found for $45-60, but it has some size to it at 44mm. Probably my favorite, under the radar pick is the SNK80x, personally I like the SNK807 ( navy blue ) or the 803 ( beige ), but they are all the same great watch, and usually under $70. I own both of these.

How about this for the same price. I have had one of these as a cheap vacation watch and it has lasted quite a few vacations. It is very light, very slim, and has made it through the ocean, swimming pools, showers, etc.

If you want something a little sturdier and better looking, there is the G-Shock version also.

So I've been wearing one of those digital Casio watches for awhile now and I'm looking to change it up a bit. Everyone seems to recommend the Timex weekender as a good cheap watch, so I was thinking of going with that. I just want to know exactly which face/band I should go with.

I'm changing up my wardrobe for this summer, and it's going to consist mostly of chino shorts in various colors, tshirts, and some light button-ups I got from H&M with boat shoes or basic sandals (Rainbow). I was thinking of going for something preppy-ish like this watch face with this band. I would just get the one that comes with that band, but the watch face looks weirdly formal and out of place to me. Also getting the two parts separately actually ends up cheaper.

Any thoughts? Does that combo work? Would it be alright with the olive band?

Haven't taken this off my wrist once for a couple years now. Still going like a pro and carries that 90's kid swag. Classic blue-ish green light button for the movie theater, middle of the night, and other dark places
