I think I’m watching it on the Casio Calculator Watch but the screen is way too small to be sure. What show is it?

The designs are based off these I believe:
Make sure the tip is right at your fancy dinner
a Casio calculator watch I always wanted one, but didn't get one until a few months ago.
I know this will get buried but I have decided to revamp my whole EDC.
/u/ieatedjesus I have taken the plunge on the Wallet you have recomended. I hate when a product has no reviews or I can't do research about it but whatever. I'm also super stingy with money so this is a huge deal for me lol ($42 with engraving)
As for the pen, I have decided to get a Fisher Space Pen $15. I have 3. Now I will have 4. (also bought a clip $5) ((also bought fieldnotes $10 for the wallet))
/u/odomandr I have decided to go with that knife $16. Nothing sexier than a good stone wash and minimalist design. I also need a knife. No idea about the quality but today I have decided to trust a total stranger on /r/EDC
/u/Ryl4nd99 Thank you for the great idea of a post! I hope to post again when everything comes in. I decided to add/replace my edc with the items above. I also carry a muthafuckin Casio as well as an Olight s2 Baton along with dollar store chapstick. Hopefully I can keep you updated or make a new post when all my goodies come in!
Sorry for the wall of text. Thank you for reading.
I own 3 but I also like 2 for its simplicity. 3 is nice for casual outfits.
Im a bit stingy and dont like to wear it unless my outfit already has atleast a little white and black. I wear [this] (http://www.amazon.com/Casio-CA53W-1-Twincept-Databank-Ani-Digi/dp/B000GB1R7S) with outfits that dont include white already. My goto watch is normally my easy reader. Other than that I just have some cheap childrens watches like these I tend to throw into outfits from time to time because I am youth and girls like them and will talk to me about them but I am not very good at communication with girl in romantic setting so we normally become friend and I am bummed.

Both Casio and Timex still make a lot of retro 80s digital watches. A bunch of them are unchanged from when they were originally brought out, too.
My normal EDC (not including cell phone, car keys and CCW as they all cost more than feasible for this situation) is a multitool/knife, flashlight, wallet, watch, pen and bandanna.
Multitool: Leatherman Squirt PS4, $28.75 Not the biggest or baddest MT out there, but it will do pretty much every EDC task I can think of needing to do.
Flashlight: [ThruNite Ti5, $15.95](
https://www.amazon.com/ThruNite-Compact-Penlight-Output-Firefly/dp/B014SGM234/ref=sr_1_12?ie=UTF8&qid=1478977407&sr=8-12&keywords=thrunite) Hard choice between this and the Streamlight Microstream.
Wallet: Big Skinny Metro, $19.99 Carried Big Skinny wallets for years. Only recently switched to Recycled Firefighter, just for a change in pace.
Watch: Casio Calculator, $14.99 The ultimate nerd watch.
Pen: Zebra F-701, $4.63 Best damn pen I've ever used.
Bandanna: Rothco Solid Black Bandanna, $5.87 Any cotton bandanna will do, I just picked this one because it was solid black.
The grand total is: $90.18. The remaining $9.82 will buy me a six pack of mid tier craft beer.
My grandpa has this calculator watch: Amazon link
He says it's very useful and it's under 20 bucks right now

I think you gotta go with this one it's really timeless
meanwhile I like rocking a Casio calculator watch for no reason other than it's retro and is the closest approximation to Marty McFly's watch you can get without spending $250+ for the real thing. That and how hard my wife's eyes roll when I call it my smart watch.
I would suggest a black watch of some sort, as casios are my favorite, I can use those as an example.
Streetwear
Retro - my favorite
Different retro
Minimalist
Crazy
Not all 100% black, but they at least got a little bit of black in them. I think part of wearing a watch is being able to balance how busy it looks on your wrist with how busy the rest of your outfit is. If you're going for streetwear, wearing a flashy watch is a lot easier than for someone going for a business casual look (of course there are exceptions). I'd say look at these and see if any would mesh with your wardrobe. Even if not, get the calculator one or the analog minimal one just to experiment with watches. They're cheap and it's fun as hell.

Got many compliment on that 10$ watch
What I went with.
Jean jacket This hasn't gotten here yet, can't speak of the quality.
Watch
Shoes
Button up This thing is a poor build. The arms do not fit right at all (if I try to raise my arms above my head in a V shape, the shirt gets too tight in the armpit/lats area, I didn't even know shirts could do that), I will never wear it again after halloween, but it was the only thing that was even close to looking similar.
Puffy jacket, red
For the maroon undershirt, I already had one from Target/Mossimo brand, their t-shirts are pretty good quality, cheap, and soft as hell. This thing is pretty spot on.
Jeans I was just going to wear a pair I already have, not too worried about the dye/color.
Glasses were a pair of aviators I had. They're not mirrored, but whatever.
So yeah, there's a lot of corner cutting, but most McFly costumes look bad because people have no idea how to buy fitted clothes. Jeans are super loose, jean jacket way too big, puffy vest too big, etc. All this stuff fits me very well, so it actually looks pretty well put together. I also got a cheap pair of Y black suspenders from amazon. If you really want to be authentic you can get a nice pair of purple Calvin Klein underwear, I didn't feel like spending $20+ for that though.
To quote myself:
> Keep in mind that all of these features are done mechanically, with miniature gears and springs and cams and such. No electronics or anything like that.
Electronics make any of these functions cheap and easy to do, which is why Timex can offer perpetual calendar for $150.
And your perpetual calendar price might be a little inflated there. This $15 Casio has perpetual calendar!
That is not a C-80, that is a CA53. I actually already had that page open because I have been looking at replacing mine. The strap broke this past winter and it is cheaper to buy a new one than to replace it.
As a bonus, here is a picture of me setting mine "on the ball" at the Greenwich Observatory last week. :)
This watch is great for keeping track of meters
Unless it's the calculator watch and they can do math too.
I really like the cheap digital casio watches. Super simple and can compliment certain styles. I picked up one of the older calculator watches and threw on a nato strap and I think it works well with black skinny jeans.
Casio CA-53W - One of my all-time favorites and usually only around $18.67, classic design. One of my most frequently worn beaters.
Here's the one I got! It's $17 on Amazon and prime eligible

The only watch you'll ever need.
Rolex's are like Mont Blanc pens, they are pretty crap (for the price). A Rolex always runs late, which is a pretty crap thing for a watch. And the buckle is flimsy.

For me the definitive watch is the Omega Seamaster. And then there is always this classic

Link for the lazy And if you really want to get fancy you could get this.
I really like Casio calculator watches but the crappy rubber straps always disintegrate after a few months. Would any kind of NATO strap work on it? Somebody has done it but I dunno how these things work. And would it be possible to reinforce the strap connection thingies? Yes, I know these give serious Walter White / Mr. Bean vibes but chicks dig it.
Here's a video of one in action. The slide rule was replaced by the calculator, which in turn replaced the slide rule watch with the calculator watch, which is absolutely the best way to get your ass kicked and high school for being such a dork.
That said, I think it's awesome if you know how to operate a slide rule in this day and age. People'll be like, "What are you doing to your watch over there?", and then you'll all be like, "Bitch, I'm doing science"!
Hell ya! And only $14.99
Amazon is about to sell out of stock I do believe.

Done.
A cheap watch.
Like this classic Casio calculator watch: http://www.amazon.com/Casio-Mens-CA53W-Calculator-Watch/dp/B000GB1R7S/ref=sr_1_5?s=apparel&ie=UTF8&qid=1421110539&sr=1-5

Or perhaps a classic Timex weekender:

This Casio watch, and going to get a pair of red/white nikes and go for that Marty McFly look
There are several!
The Christopher Ward C60 Trident 300. It's the quartz version of what I personally feel is one of the best Diver watches on the market.
Casio MDV-106. Another quartz diver, and also pretty inexpensive!
Actually basically any Casio watch. The F91W, the A158W, CA-53W, any of the Edifices, etc.
There are also a tonne of quartz Seikos out there. I can't think of many of the top of my head, but like all Seikos, they're great quality for a decent price.
If we can bend the rules to include Solar watches, that opens up to both more Casios, as well as Citizen's lineup of watches. My personally favourite is the Nighthawk (A pretty cliche choice, I know), but they have watches in so many styles, include dressier ones. Another Neat one is the Altichron which has a manual compass and altitude display.
That's also not including more high end Quartz watches, such as the Seamaster 2541 that Pierce Brosnan wore as James Bond in Goldeneye (I know that piece is no longer available on Omega's website, but it's easy enough to find secondhand).
So basically, I think I'd be okay lol

That's all I needed to hear.. I'm buying it
They are cheap now. I know you have been wanting one since highschool.
The infamous Casio calculator watch: ~$15 ^Here's ^a ^photo ^of ^Marty ^McFly ^wearing ^one.
Or what about half an ounce of Calvin Klein Obsession for Men: ~$20 ^The ^only ^fragrance ^in ^the ^world ^scientifically ^proven ^to ^be ^popular ^with ^big ^cats.
Which bands would pair with my casio calculator watch? Do any metal bands actually look good with a cheap plastic calculator watch?
So I just finished The Right Stuff, and in it the author mentioned that you could always spot a test pilot off duty because they wore somewhat shabby clothes but huge (and expensive) technical watches. In an engineering interview a good watch, especially one with added features, could demonstrate some serious nerd cred. This isn't exactly one of those watches, but an engineering hiring manager might notice your pragmatism (wearing a watch) over your fashion sense.
Edit: This is a good, sensible engineer's watch: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000GB1R7S
Getat Panerai Homage
Tsovet NM-85 All Black

Casio CA53W-1
And a bunch of Invicta divers, etc. that I purchased before I knew better
Or like being confused why anyone wouldn't be satisfied with a $15 Casio smartwatch.
I have never understood this. I'm sure it comes down to aesthetics because every analog watch I've ever owned had its battery die after a few years whereas my nerdtastic calculator watch has been using the same battery faithfully for the past eight years.
Maybe if it was one of those self-winding watches....
https://www.amazon.com/Casio-Mens-CA53W-Calculator-Watch/dp/B000GB1R7S/
There are different versions, I just linked the same one as the pic.
For those wondering this is the watch in the picture, the top review is from the picture above.
11/10 would impulse buy again.

I have never been a watch guy before. This summer I decided to invest in a sick Casio Databank and I wear it all the time now. Not only can I glance at my watch and BOOM, there's the time, there's also a freaking calculator (which is actually surprisingly useful)!
I payed full retail for my watch.
Here's one for $5, but you'd probably be better off in the long run spending $15 for this higher quality one
I've had this for a while and personally recommend it.

My smartwatch is $25
Casio Calculator, Cheap and Useful. Don't get hims something snazzy as it's likely to get poop or blood on it. I've also found that a pricey time piece makes you a target for muggers, who are sometimes your patients...

Yeah, totally feel ya on that. I like math if I can apply it. But doing arithmetic in my head is like pulling teeth, for sure. Course, then I got me one of these. Best watch I've ever bought.
Too bad it doesn't help with confusing left and right ~50% of the time. Definitely embarrassing.
Actual C-80s from the 80s? Or a bunch of the new and quite cheap ones?
