I just want to plug the /r/FantasyWriters anthology again: Champions
Still gloriously, 100% free with wonderful stories from this very subreddit!
My laptop also broke recently... it won't charge any more and that's how I do ~75% of my writing so that sucks but at least I'm burning through my reading list and I'm using the time to plan instead.
I've just finished reading Take Off Your Pants and it's really helped me figure out why I've been stuck with Add Brimstone To Taste for so long (hint: my protagonist wasn't active and didn't have a flaw good enough to create proper conflict). So I'm very excited to get a good plan down to fix it as I've sunk tens of thousands of words into drafts that just. weren't. working.
