It's a "young adult" series. School Library Journal calls it grade 8 and up.

Two characters fall for each other and it's revealed at the end of book 1 they're brother/sister. Book 2 is lots of angst about how evil they feel because they still want each other. Then there's a further reveal at the end of Book 2 that they're not really brother/sister, it was all a plot. Simultaneously, another character (who turns out later to be the 'big evil' for the series) is introduced that the girl character kisses--he ends up being her biological brother who pursues her sexually throughout the series.

Try Miserere by Teresa Frohock. People are drawn from different periods in history into a fourth plane between Heaven and Hell in order to become exorcists.

There's also The Mortal Instruments series, but I barely made it through the first book it was so cringe-worthy. The story behind that one is that it's a famous Harry Potter fanfiction repackaged with "demonhunters" instead of wizards.

I need this because I REALLY need a guard dog around the house.
/u/0hfuck needs this, because you never know when you need a good supply of bones, and what better source than a city of them? (And you never know when I'll need to borrow one to feed my dog. See above. ;) )

  1. It's true that the batteries on your electronic devices won't last - thus, the trick is to take several electronic devices. I always take my DS, iPod, PSP, GBA, and more. Another great thing is puzzle books - crosswords or sudoku. They take up very little space but last hours and hours of activity. I love doing crosswords while just listening to my iPod in the background. And of course, try to sleep. That's the best way to get it over with quickly as possible.

  2. Reward yourself, and do things in chunks. For example, my preferred method is saying "okay, once I write half a page I'll play an hour of games". Or "once I finish these 3 questions I can browse Reddit until x time". It's a nice incentivised way to get things done, and since you're only doing it in little chunks it shouldn't be too hard.

    Something from my list!

I think this would be pretty cute and practical in the timetot's room! It shouldn't take up too much space since it'd be on the wall.

I'd like this book :) Thanks for doing this and congrats on the timetot!
